Mistakes that cost interviews
- A list of duties with no numbers.
- Claiming a system, language or registration you do not have. You may be tested or asked.
- A silly email address, or a cell number that goes to voicemail.
- No mention of the shifts or hours you can work.
- Gaps in dates with no explanation.
- Typing errors. For a job that involves typing and writing, they count against you.

Build my call centre CVQuestions people ask
- Do I need a different CV for every job?
- Keep one strong master CV and adjust the profile, the job title and the order of your skills to match each advert. Change only what is true.
- Should I add references?
- "References available on request" is enough. Have two or three people ready, such as a former team leader, and ask them first.
